engraved pancake goes spin

I've been into collecting vinyl records since late 2024. I was oddly fascinated by how record players function. The whole mechanism is so incredibly inventive, it makes you wonder how someone could've thought up of something like that to begin with.

I thought it'd be nice to just own a physical copy of an album to display in your room to show off to others, especially considering how huge a 12-inch record is compared to a CD. I did also start collecting CDs on top of vinyl, mostly because they're easier to manage and are a lot cheaper.

I got a record player for Christmas after preordering the Nowhere record from Friday Pilots Club in late November. It's not the best record player I could've gotten, but I don't care that much about sound quality, plus I think it looks nice in my room:

How can you tell the only thing I listen to is rock?
