Back in late 2023, around the time I finally decided to take my YT channel seriously, I also started up a second channel, named LuchenatorsAnimations, then later on LuchenatorTalks. This was meant to act as a place where I can just talk about whatever I want that wasn't related to game dev. However, I realized around three videos in that it took way too much work to manage that, my main channel, and my game dev stuff to the point where I didn't bother putting in actual effort or research into any of them.
So let's take a look at all of them, why not?
This was the first real video I uploaded to the channel (the ACTUAL first video was just a channel trailer) that took me months to edit for absolutely no reason. I'ma be honest, this video was alright. Not only was it a topic I was passionate about, but I actually had some decent prior knowledge to use in the video. I'd say it was a decently-written video that got its point across effectively.
Me and my friends binge-watch the entirety of Skibidi Toilet in one sitting... using a video from a content farm and did next to zero prior research on the series before watching it. And to add salt to the wound, I act like I did my homework, disrupt the entire pacing of the video, and try to go over the "history" of the series in the most surface-level manner. Even though it was fun watching the series with my friends, this video is rather mediocre.
I'm really not proud of this video. Sure, I'm rather happy with the animation and the new-at-the-time editing style, but nearly everything else is subpar at best. It's obvious I didn't bother putting any true thought into the video. The viewer gets next to nothing out of it since all I do is explain how Duolingo markets their app and does their literal job without explaining exactly why I have a problem with it. No wonder so many people assumed I was just complaining for the sake of complaining.
There you go. A whole page on this website dedicated to the second channel videos we shall not speak of from here on out. In August 2025, 5 months after I discontinued the channel, I would repurpose it to LuchenatorLite, only to be used for videos that wouldn't take nearly as much effort as my main channel videos (like, y'know, an actual second channel). Here's a video I have published on there right now if you'd like to get a taste of it (there are some things I would change about this one too, but whatever):
